Nathan Chikoto is a Zimbabwean contemporary recycle artist based in Cape Town ,South Africa.He is widely recognised for creating vibrant mixed media artworks using recycled and found materials such as metal ,rubber ,wood ,aluminium cans and discarded urban objects . His art reflects  Cape Town,South African Townships culture,everyday community life and enviroment awareness through creative recycling techniques.

Born in Zimbabwe in 1983,Nathan Chikoto developed a disctinctive artistic style that combines painting ,sculture and recycled materials to produce textured townships scenes and contemporary African visual narratives .His artworks often portray bustling streets ,harbour,life,local communities,and social experiences inspired by South African urban environments.

Today ,Nathan Chikoto continues to produce original artworks from his studio and gallery space in Bo-Kaap area of Cape Town where his work has become known for its storytelling,cultural expression and unique use of recycled materials
